Intranet
This project migrated the Pennsylvania State Police Intranet from the proprietary PA-DSF to the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform.
Work Description
Phase I:

Mockup and development on SharePoint 2010 environment utilizing SharePoint 2010 Document Center, Libraries, and Publishing Portal.

Pennsylvania State Police Web Office
This project's purpose was to fully migrate the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Website from a decommissioned content management system to the Commonwealth Enterprise portal standard, which at that time was Oracle/BEA Aqualogic / WebCenter.
I was responsible for all project phases, including planning, implementation, graphics, and deployment.
A three-phase approach was taken in this project.
Work Description
Phase I:

Evaluation, re-organization, and restructure of the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) website.

Develop a strategic plan for the content migration creation of the PSP Portal Project Plan and Charter.

Creation of a PSP Portal Steering Committee.
-
The current site content inventory and evaluation are based on the agency website.
Gather additional web content requirements based on Agency goals and objectives, including an evaluation and input from executive-level management.
Phase II:

Evaluation of current business practices and policies within the PSP web office.

Recommending changes and policy creation based on best practices concerning the PSP Web Site(s) management.

Content creation and existing edits were performed for placement on the PSP Portal.

This project's purpose was to fully migrate the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Member Assistance website from a decommissioned content management system to the Commonwealth Enterprise portal standard, which at that time was Oracle/BEA Aqualogic / WebCenter.
I was responsible for all project phases, including planning, implementation, graphics, and deployment. This website was created within a marketing site template and exempted from the standard look and feel of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Government websites.

Pennsylvania State Police Amber Alert Website
Pennsylvania State Police Amber Alert Web Site
The purpose of this project was to fully migrate the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Amber Alert Website from a decommissioned content management system (DSF) to the Commonwealth Enterprise portal standard, which at the time was Oracle/BEA Aqualogic / WebCenter.
I was responsible for all project phases, including planning, implementation, graphics, and deployment. This project also required the use and evaluation of the Alert PA system to replace the use of the alerts within PA-DSF.

Pennsylvania Department of Education Website
The purpose of this project was the migration of the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Website from a decommissioned content management system to the Enterprise portal standard at that time of Oracle/BEA Aqualogic. This project also involved the assistance in the management of the PDE Web Office in day-to-day operations.
Evaluation, re-organization, and restructure of the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) website. This includes but is not limited to current site content inventory, requirements gathering based on Agency needs, evaluation of end-user experience, and developing a strategic plan for the migration of the PDE website from the current content management system to the BEA Aqualogic platform. Evaluation of current business practices and policies within the PDE web office, recommending changes and policy creation based on best practices concerning the management of the PDE Web Site(s).
Create, implement, and manage new communities within PDE Aqualogic Portals as needed. This also includes the creation/coding of custom portlets as needed for dynamic web content delivery. Maintain the site within the BEA Aqualogic platform.
Create Graphics and custom templates for a consistent “look and feel” for the PDE website.
